Terms of use
In short: Zoombad is a home for small apps that your own AI builds, and a Store where people share or sell such apps for $0.99 (US dollars). You own what you create. Apps are made by AI and come without guarantees. Be fair to others and don't misuse the service.
1. Who we are
Zoombad is provided by Kordan GmbH, c/o Ardita Abazi, Ursprungstrasse 32a, 8450 Andelfingen, Switzerland (UID CHE-138.143.105, commercial register of the Canton of Zurich) ("we", "us"). Contact: support@zoombad.com.
2. The service
Zoombad lets you keep and use small web apps on your phone and computer. Apps are created or changed by an AI assistant you connect (for example Claude or ChatGPT) using your own account with that provider. Your use of those AI services is governed by their own terms. Zoombad also offers a Store where creators can publish apps for free or for $0.99 (US dollars).
3. Your account
- You sign in with a one-time code sent to your email. Keep access to your email secure.
- You must be at least 13 years old. From 13 to 15 you need permission from a parent or guardian.
- The details in your profile (name, date of birth, country or region) must be true. Your date of birth can only be changed by support.
- You are responsible for what happens in your account, including actions taken by AI apps you connect. You can disconnect them at any time in your account.
4. Your content
- You keep all rights to the apps you create and the data you save. You give us the limited permission needed to store, run, back up and display them so the service works.
- When you publish an app in the Store, you also allow buyers to use their own copy of it and to change it for their own use (for example by asking their AI). Buyers may not re-sell or re-publish it.
- Your saved app data is not included when another user obtains a copy of your app. Data you choose to share through groups, teams, "Use together" or chats is available to the relevant participants. See the Privacy policy for details.
5. AI-made apps — no guarantees
Apps on Zoombad are generated by AI and may contain mistakes. They are provided "as is". Don't rely on them for medical, legal, financial or safety-critical decisions. Check important results yourself.
6. Store purchases and credit
- You buy Store apps with prepaid credit. Credit is not cash, can't be transferred, and doesn't expire while your account exists.
- Every Store app is free or costs $0.99 (US dollars), VAT included where it applies. The price shown is what you pay from your credit.
- Refunds: you can refund a paid app yourself within 48 hours of buying it (up to 3 times per month); the app and its data are then removed. After that, contact us and we decide case by case. Your statutory consumer rights remain unaffected.
- Unused credit is refunded to your original payment method only where the law requires it.
7. Plus and Creator plans
Zoombad is free to use. Plus ($4.99 per month) removes the limit on how many apps your AI makes. Creator ($14.99 per month) adds sharing apps with groups (for example students or clients) and a 90% creator share. Plans are billed monthly in advance until you cancel. You can cancel at any time in your account ("Manage subscription"); the plan then runs until the end of the paid month. If a plan ends, you keep your apps, but you can't create new ones beyond the free limit.
8. Selling in the Store
Creators must follow the Creator rules. Creators keep 85% of each sale after VAT (90% on the Creator plan); payouts are made through our payment provider, less its payout fee, once the creator has completed its verification.
9. Acceptable use
Don't use Zoombad to break the law, harm others, collect passwords or payment details, distribute malware, harass people, infringe others' rights, or overload or attack the service. We may remove content and suspend accounts that break these rules.
10. Ending your account
You can delete your account at any time in You → "Delete my account". This removes your apps, data, listings, unused credit and unpaid earnings. We may suspend or close accounts that seriously or repeatedly break these terms; where possible, we'll tell you first and let you download your data.
11. Liability
To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect or consequential damages, or for loss of data you could have avoided by downloading your data. Our total liability is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim. Nothing limits liability for intent or gross negligence, or rights you have under mandatory consumer law.
12. Changes
We may update these terms. We'll tell you about important changes by email or in the app at least 30 days in advance. If you don't agree, you can delete your account before they take effect.
13. Law and disputes
These terms are governed by Swiss law, excluding its conflict-of-law rules. The courts at the seat of the company in Andelfingen (Canton of Zurich, Switzerland) have jurisdiction, subject to mandatory consumer-protection rules of your country of residence.
