ZoombadCreator rules
In short: publish useful, honest apps that you have the right to share. Offer them for free or for $0.99. You keep 85% of the price after VAT (90% on the Creator plan). Never collect passwords, payments or other people's data. Respect buyers' privacy — you never see what they save.
Pricing and earnings
- Apps are either free or $0.99 (US dollars). There is no other price.
- You keep 85% of the price after VAT, or 90% while you're on the Creator plan. Example with Swiss VAT (8.1%): a $0.99 app is $0.92 before VAT, so you earn $0.78 ($0.82 on the Creator plan). There is no fee to publish. Zoombad keeps the rest to cover card fees, hosting, review and support.
- Earnings are paid monthly to your bank through our payment provider once you have at least $25 and have completed its identity check. The provider's cost of each payout (currently about $2.30) is deducted from that payout. You are responsible for taxes on your earnings.
- If a buyer is refunded, your share of that sale is reversed.
What your app must do
- Work as described. The name, description and category must be honest.
- Use your own work. Only publish apps you made with your AI, and only use text, sounds and images you have the right to use. Apps you got from the Store can't be re-published.
- Be self-contained. Use Zoombad's storage and sharing features. Do not connect app code to outside services or try to bypass these restrictions.
Not allowed
- Asking for passwords, payment details, ID numbers or other sensitive data.
- Imitating a company, brand, government or person, or misleading users.
- Malware, attempts to break out of the sandbox, or hiding what the app really does.
- Anything that sexualises, exploits or endangers children. Zero tolerance: the account is closed at once, earnings are withheld, and we report it to the authorities.
- Pornography, nudity or other sexual content.
- Instructions for making, or ways to buy or sell, weapons, ammunition, explosives or drugs.
- Real-money gambling or betting.
- Content that promotes violence, terrorism, hate, harassment or self-harm.
- Medical, legal or financial advice presented as professional advice.
- Copies of other creators' apps, spam, or many near-identical listings.
- Fake reviews, or asking people for reviews in exchange for anything.
Review and removal
Every listing, update, link you send to friends and group share is checked automatically before anyone else sees it. Content that breaks these rules is refused; content we're unsure about (for example apps with pictures, or about weapons, drugs or gambling) waits for a moderator. Apps reported by several people, or reported for child safety, are hidden until we check them.
Choose an honest age rating (Everyone, 13+ or 18+) when you publish.
New listings and updates are reviewed before they appear. We may reject or remove a listing, or suspend a creator, if these rules are broken — reports from users help us. For serious cases, earnings from the affected sales may be withheld or refunded to buyers. You can appeal by contacting support@zoombad.com.
Updates
When you publish a new version, buyers see "Update available" and can choose to update; their saved data is kept. Please keep data formats compatible so buyers don't lose progress.
